Meet Tommy Graham

Tommy Graham’s knowledge of the cultural resources of the Santee Delta encompasses several decades of research and craftsmanship in his local community. A native of McClellanville, South Carolina, Mr. Graham has worked as a Preservation Contractor and Project Site Manager on some of the most significant historic sites in Charleston and Georgetown Counties. Numerous National Register and National Historic Landmarks, residences, plantations, mills, and churches including Old Bethel AME Church in McClellanville, St. James- Santee Episcopal “Brick” Church, Peachtree Plantation Ruins, Cape Romain Light Station, Kinloch Plantation

Threshing Mill, Miles Brewton House, St. Michael’s Church, and Jehossee Island have been studied, measured, and restored by him. Mr. Graham incorporates a meticulous, hands-on approach to all facets of a restoration project from preliminary research, to reading and analyzing buildings or remnants of buildings, to the training of crew in conservation and restoration techniques.
